Dr. Shokrian graduated with his Medical Degree from the Tel Aviv University Sackler in Israel. After obtaining his medical degree he relocated to the United States where he completed his general surgery residency with the Nassau University Medical Center. Wanting to further his training he then completed his Plastic Surgery fellowship with the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Burn Surgery fellowship with theWilliam Randolph Hearst Burn Center at Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Dr. Shokrian currently practices as a Plastic Surgeon with Millennial Plastic Surgery, where he holds an expertise in awake body contouring procedures such as liposuction, Brazilian butt lifts, facelifts and mini tummy tucks.. Dr. Shokrian’s practice is performing awake surgeries with local anesthesia which enhance positive outcomes. Awake surgeries, performed by a qualified surgeon like Dr. Shokrian, lead to fewer complications and less downtime and pain. Dr. Shokrian has spoken at national conferences on issues from gender affirmation surgery, facial transplantation surgery and has committed his time to helping burn victims regain their lives via probono work both in the United States and abroad.
He has worked with Ulplift Internationale, a non for profit organization that funds and performs pediatric cleft lip and plate surgery in the Philippines.
His work was also presented as a research at the Plastic Surgery Research Council on the treatment for sportsman’s hernia repair.
He now has thousands of liposuction and body contouring procedures behind and is a master of body sculpting and fat transfer to all areas of the body.
He has committed his life to the making his patients look and feel better.
